Our next stitch club is on Saturday 22nd June 2024 at the Thomas Garrett Building, Heighington. Please note the date, as we had to put it back one week. As normal the stitch club will run from 10:00 - 15:00.
Judith will be teaching us to make Yarn Hooked Badges as illustrated:
Requirements List
- 15 cm square close weave hessian (Judith will bring some with her if you don't have any)
- 9cm embroidery hoop
- Either a No 1 or 1.25 or 1.5 or 2.00 crochet hook
- Badge pin or safety pin
- 7cm square piece of felt for backing.
- Light weight piece of card - to hold badge in shape
- Double knitting wool in chosen colours (depending on design)
- Sewing thread and needle to attach pin and felt
- Scissors
Please advise Judith if you will be attending so we have an idea of numbers.
Tea/coffee/biscuits will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch with you. We look forward to seeing you there!
