The birds are all wool, Robyn says -

I can bring a core wool with me and all the other wool in case people don`t have them. I will bring needle, sponge to work on and wire for legs and if anyone wants to put the birds on a base they can bring one with them or ill bring some log slices as well. If people want to make an obscure bird then let me know so I can bring additional colours if needed and images to copy from.
