We met in Joan's house; she has a lovely kitchen diner extension which turns beautifully into a workshop for the few of us. It was a wonderful day of chat and absorbed silence.
There were three who took on the challenge and they all had their own ideas and just got on with them. Jacqui used a magazine picture to enhance with detailed embroidery; Joan had seabird images which she put together into a bird dense shore; Anne created a semi abstract mix of beach images with printed fabric, lace and ribbon.
