January Stitch Club

 Our January stitch club will take place on Saturday 20th January 2024 at the Thomas Garrett Rooms, Heighington.

Robyn Smith will be leading us in creating a needle felted picture.  Below is a list of requirements:

• A background to use for your picture, Robyn uses old wool jumpers, wool blankets, wool felt, tweed or wool fabric, linen, think about the colour of your background if you are going to see it in your finished picture.
• Felting needles, Robyn uses mainly 38 and 40 twisted needles. She will have some with her that you can use on the day.
• Felting needle holder.
• Sponge or rice bag for working on
•  Wool tops, merino, corriedale, you can have a selection of wools fibres, Robyn will bring some with her.
•  Photos for inspiration

As usual, Robyn will bring loads of stuff with her and people can use what they want and donate a few pounds to her, depending what you use, so do not worry if you don`t have any of the materials.
