Joan (and Kate) will be bringing Tyvek, heat guns and soldering irons. You do not need to bring your own electrical items, but if you do they need to be PAT tested in advance (Springbok on the High Street will do this for £1.50 an item).
Joan (and Kate) will also bring some of everything else, but bring your own, if you have it (them).
- Tin tray (or biscuit tin lid) to work on, with an old towel for insulation
- Brooch backs
- Felt in colours of your choice
- Glue
- Scissors for cutting Tyvek
- Card
- Water colour/acrylic paints with brushes
- Wire and snips/pliers
- Beads (small and medium; seed bead needles and Nymo thread), small buttons, sequins and any other decorative items
Bring your sewing kit and cotton machine thread both for decorative effects and sewing brooch backs onto felt.
