"Kate Steane led last Saturday's Stitch Club group with fabulous results as
shown here. Like a magician she laid out 'Ideas Cards' so we could see a vast
array of stitching techniques and designs. There were her inimitable sample
cards (ones she prepared earlier). Kate had also brought much that we would
need:threads, scrap fabric, the card and backing as well as books
to inspire us. She finally joined in, creating new cards, once we were all
settled-in and sewing! It was a day full of colour and laughter. Our thanks to
