Jane Drummond talk 24.2.12

Tomorrow, 24.2.12, Bailgate branch of the EG will welcome the very talented Jane Drummond to speak to us.

Jane has restored and made vestments for Lincoln Cathedral for 18 years. She passed the certificated course of the Royal School of Needlework with distinction and is now near to completing the advanced diploma.

Jane now also works withThe Landi Company Ltd, based at Burghley House, Lincolnshire, which offers a full range of textile conservation services for the individual or large institution and anything in between.The objects handled include tapestries, embroideries (from samplers to wall hangings), costume and costume accessories, upholstery and chair covers, window curtains and pelmets, altar frontals, lace, painted textiles and many other classes of antique and interesting textile and related objects.
