The big opening of Fabric Corner's new Craftea and coffee shop is on Friday 17th July

Shadow Applique Stitch Club - Sat 25th July


Our final stitch club for the 2015/2015 year will be Shadow Applique, to be run by Shirley Rowley at the Thomas Garrett Buildings, Heighington on Saturday 25th July.

Time:  10.00 - 15:00.

Triangle Box Stitch Club Requirements List

Don't forget, Lyn Rochester is teaching her Triangle Box stitch club tomorrow [20th June].  Requirements as follows:

  • Mountboard, enough to cut out 8, 8 inch triangles, [you can buy a bag for £1 at Speedframe]; 
  • Wadding, 2oz enough to cover 4 8 inch triangles;
  • 1 metre of half inch wide ribbon;
  • 3 small curtain rings, plastic or metal;
  • 3 brads for the base [Lyn will bring some]utting mat, craft knife, double sided sellotape, pritt stick, usual basic sewing kit, ruler and pencil.
  • Cutting mat, craft knife, double sided sellotape, pritt stick, usual basic sewing kit, ruler and pencil.
Being held at Thomas Garret rooms, Heighington, Lincoln, starting 10:00 am.  Bring a pack lunch, tea, coffee, biscuits provided.

Cost £5.00.  If you don't want to do this, you are still welcome to come along and stitch whatever you are working on and have a natter.

24th April Members working together on Friday evening

Jo Beattie cancelled at short notice so we had a practical evening. Members brought their own work and some tackled the Branch landscape challenge. There was a friendly atmosphere with lots of tea, coffee and chatting.
