Young Embroiderers' Session on Woven Bags

"Woven Bags".
These were made by weaving different threads and wools in a spiral
around a card base. After the weaving was completed and tied off,
The children made beads with Friendly Plastic.

YE needle felting

Animals were favourite with many of the Young Embroiderers in Robyn's needle felting Stitch Club on 21st January 2012.

We were glad is wasn't a competition because those talented YE members would win!

Lincoln Bailgate's Young Embroiderers Group, led by Christine Plummer, produce lovely creative work.
In November 11, each of the children made a small wall hanging, six gift tags and some Christmas cards. They produced a collaged background with an image/focal point of Christmas using recycled gift paper, cards and foils. This was painted and waxed, then embroidered with free machine work. Their work is inspiring.
