Hi All
I'm running a tatting stitch club on 10th July 2021 at Heighington. I will have tatting shuttles with me if you haven't got one and you can purchase for £1.50 if you want. Requirements list:
- I recommend a thread that will 'slip' relatively easily, so crochet cotton, or pearl. You can use wool, but it's not as forgiving.
- A tapestry needle in case of knots! It happens to the best of us!
- Scissors
- If we get time and you want to try it, beads that will fit on the thread you are tatting with
- Packed lunch
We'll start by learning the basic stitch and create a motif or two, using double stitch, picots etc.
